Water Well Technology, Inc. uses a Dual Lens Color
Video Camera to inspect the interior of water wells and bore holes.
With this new advancement in visual technology, it is possible to locate,
identify and define conditions not previously visable.
The Duel Lens Camera improves down hole inspection
by permitting the viewer to sea a 360 degree view looking down and a
close-up view looking out to the sides. The down hole wide angle lens
can easily locate reductions, ovaled and collapsed casings. The side
view lens rotates, giving a detailed close-up examination of the holes,
perforations, gravel pack and split seams. With state-of-the-art low
light digital vidicon technology, our camera delivers sharp crystal
clear pictures for viewing. These pictures are viewed on a large high
resolution color monitor at the well site and recorded on video tape
for later evaluation. A video typewriter is used to record notable points
of interest and a color video printer adds instant still photos for
a complete evaluation.
In addition to the down hole inspection, Water Well
Technology, Inc. provides a computerized log detailing information
obtained from the inspection. This log includes a structural evaluation
of the casing and perforated areas, any areas of bacterial growth and
incrustation buildup. The log also includes recommendations for any
known repairs and rehabilitation procedures.
